1. Review tender documents (ITTs, RFQs, site reports) to extract scope, specifications, and pricing requirements.
2. Prepare detailed cost estimates for labour, materials, consumables, equipment, and overheads.
3. Apply TUPE regulations, accounting for holiday accruals, pension, NI, sickness, and employment benefits.
4. Use productivity rates (e.g., BICSc standards) to determine labour requirements and validate against site-specific conditions.
5. Liaise with internal departments (operations, HR, finance) and suppliers to ensure realistic and deliverable pricing.
6. Develop and maintain pricing tools and templates in Excel to streamline quote preparation.
7. Support bid writers with commercial input, pricing notes, and clarifications.
8. Work with site teams to inform estimates based on layout, congestion, and shift patterns.
9. Assist in preparing final proposal submissions, ensuring commercial alignment and compliance.
