VACANCY NOTICE: RECRUITMENT FULL TIME PERMANENT POSITION

Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare. MSF offers assistance to people based on need, irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation. We are seeking qualified and highly motivated applicants for:

LOGISTIC ASSISTANT

General objectives of the function:

To insure that the technical and logistical support is given adequately to the needs of the medical program requirements and the MSF health structures. The Logistic Assistant`s services needs to be given safely, efficiently and effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

Supervise technical and logistical support to the hospital
Equipment and biomedical management
Water, hygiene and sanitation support
Hospital maintenance
Safety/security implementation
Planning and reporting

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor Degree in Technical Subjects
Essential
Work experience relevant to the position
Essential
Experience with MSF in similar position
Desirable
Experience with other NGOs Work experience relevant to the position
Desirable

Knowledge and Skills:

Good communication skills in English, Urdu and Pashto
Essential
Experience with Watsan and biomed activities
Desirable
Knowledge of MS Office (excel, word, power point)
Essential
Good working knowledge in management and administrative procedures
Desirable
