The applicant must be/ have:
- Well versed with reading and writing English / Urdu
- Skilled at writing News stories for publication in print, web and other platforms, including writing news releases, magazine pieces, feature stories and blog items.
- Skilled at Project-management so as to ensure that deadlines are met.
- Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills and ability to interact effectively with a diverse array of people.
- Proficient at use of Microsoft Office Suite, InDesign, Photoshop and related software.
- Good understanding of Web technologies and applications, including social networking, social media tools and current communication trends.
- Command on social media, its terminologies and trends
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles, procedures, and best practices of communications, public relations, and editorial content.
- Experience in planning and implementing complex publications/editorial projects.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize and coordinate materials from multiple resources.
- Exceptional attention to detail and thorough command of editorial and proofreading skills.
- Demonstrated ability to apply discretion and judgment in evaluating implications of information release to internal and external audiences.
